About NACP

Nepalese Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP) was formally registered at Kathmandu District Office in August 13, 2014 (2071.04.28) With the aim of promotion of clinical psychology as a profession and to contribute in mental health sector. It represents as a professional association of registered clinical psychologists of Nepal. The ad hoc team during inception (chaired by Dr Mita Rana) was elected as the first executive committee (EC) of NACP. The next EC committee was chaired by Dr Pashupati Mahat. The third EC was chaired by Subash Chandra Sharma and current EC chaired by Dr Narmada Devkota with 7 members, elected in 2080BS, Chaitra.

NACP represents all licensed clinical psychologists in Nepal and currently there are 30 registered members according to the record of the respective professional council i.e. Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC)].
